Suzy Snowflake

As Christmas Day draws near, I am finding myself with less time to search for all the kitsch and quirk of Christmas. So here is Suzy Snowflake, my gift to you. There is no punch line, just sweetness all around. Totally love it. For any girl or boy who grew up in Chicago and watched the Bozo Show, you will know this well. And to my lovely sister, Gretchen, I shall always hold dear our alternate lyrics to this Christmas classic.

Gifts from the Sea

Next time you find yourself oceanside, remember that those shells you are collecting can be turned into festive cold hard cash on the craft sale circuit.

For the Mom to Be

Baby's first ugly Christmas sweater.

A wise choice for any holiday gathering for the mom-to-be.

For the Outdoorsman

RIP Rudolph 1939-2011

A green and holy way to recycle your shotgun shells.

No words.

Christmas Records for You and Yours

We actually HAVE this Christmas album. Meow-wowza.

Ahhh...the dulcet tones of the Mistletoe Disco Band. They are da bomb.

The picture on this record was taken before Tiger's untimely death at the hands of Sam the Butcher and after Fluffy's permanent trip to a really nice farm.

I have never heard of the Humbards but am extremely impressed by their sense of style.

Jim and Tammy Bakker...just for you, Gretchen.

More Christmas-Wear for the Men in Your Life

They're back! I don't know what else to say beyond the fact that these guys really know how to embrace their inner Christmas spirit. Jingle On, you men of all that's merry and bright.

Nativities

This post works best while being sung to the tune of "This Little Piggie".

This baby Jesus rides a pick-up.

This baby Jesus rides a Porsche.

This baby Jesus is a merman.

This baby Jesus is a dog.

And this baby Jesus is an edible cake pop sporting a pacifier. Dee-licious!
